
Honey Garlic Side of Salmon

A whole side of salmon baked in honey, garlic and lemon butter until flaky with crispy edges.

Ingredients
- side of salmon800 g
- butter — melted115 g
- honey170 g
- garlic cloves — crushed6 ea
- lemon — half juiced and half sliced1 ea
- fresh parsley — chopped5 g
Method
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (170°C fan) / Gas 5.
- Mix the melted butter with the honey, garlic, lemon juice and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Put the salmon on a large baking tray, pour over the honey garlic mixture and lay the lemon slices on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, basting halfway through.
- Scatter over the fresh parsley and serve.

- 100 ml Olive oil instead of butter
Whisk the olive oil with the honey, garlic and lemon juice instead of melted butter; the glaze is a little thinner, so baste twice during the same 20 to 25 minutes.
