
Garlic Chilli Crisp Lemon Sardines

These Garlic Chilli Crisp Lemon Sardines are quick, punchy and packed with flavour. Crispy sardines, fresh herbs, zesty lemon and Marion’s Kitchen Garlic Chilli Crisp come together for the ultimate easy rice bowl.

Ingredients
- canned sardines — in olive oil230 g
- jasmine rice — steamed to serve130 g
- capers — finely chopped1 tsp
- finely chopped flat-leaf parsley2 tbsp
- roughly chopped dill1 tbsp
- cherry tomatoes — halved75 g
- garlic chilli crisp — plus extra if needed3 tbsp
- lemon — zest of half and juice of whole1 ea
Method
- In a small bowl, combine the capers, parsley, dill, cherry tomatoes, lemon zest and lemon juice. Add the Marion’s Kitchen Garlic Chilli Crisp and mix well until it forms a loose dressing. Add a little extra chilli crisp if you prefer a thinner consistency.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the sardines and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side or until heated through and lightly crisp on the outside.
- Spoon the steamed rice onto serving plates. Place the sardines over the rice, then generously spoon over the lemon garlic chilli crisp dressing.
- Serve immediately with extra Marion’s Kitchen Garlic Chilli Crisp if you like a little more heat.
